Highland tourism, landscape and nature

A seminar to learn about, and discuss, how we can encourage tourism and tourist behaviour that benefits the region and cares for nature.

Caroline Vawdrey, on behalf of the Highland Environment Forum, writes

We all know that tourism is essential to the Highland economy, and yet it brings its challenges to communities and nature too. An online seminar organised by Highland Environment Forum on 'Highland tourism, landscape and nature'  will be considering how we can encourage tourism and tourist behaviour that benefits the region and cares for nature. The seminar will include contributions from Visit Scotland, Highland Council, John Muir Trust, and Wester Ross Biosphere with plenty of time for questions.
